Autumn 2024 - Harvest of Hope

Hope For Families

Redeemed Seasons has launched "At My Right Hand" (AMRH), a support group for families and friends with LGBTQ-identified loved ones. This support setting offers a safe place for moms, dads, grandmothers and grandfathers, siblings and friends to share their stories, their hopes and fears for their loved ones, and their successes and failures in trying to maintain relationship while standing firmly in their Christian faith and on Biblical standards.

We have grounded AMRH in (and drawn the name from) Psalm 16:8 - "I always let the Lord guide me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken."

The in-person edition of AMRH met twice in October, providing care and support to members of 4 different families.

Beginning in November, we will add a virtual gathering of AMRH for those who are not able to be physically present in Colorado Springs.

We have two main goals in the in-person and virtual AMRH settings: (1) to learn from those who have walked this difficult path already, and (2) to pursue deeper relationship with Jesus, the surest path to hope and peace, as we entrust our loved ones to His care.

We ask that you pray earnestly for these precious families and for their loved ones and for the Spirit's wisdom as the Redeemed Seasons staff facilitates these small group settings.

If you would like more information about either group, please reach out to us via email at info@redeemedseasons.org.

Hope For Those Who Struggle

Momentum continues to grow for the spiritual direction practice of Redeemed Seasons. Between them, Mark and Christy are currently providing care to approximately 25 individuals. There are another 15 or so clients who have received care but are not actively engaged with the ministry.

For many of our clients, their stories include long-term struggles with brokenness and unhealthy choices: unwanted same-sex attraction, pornography addiction, relationship challenges, and feelings of separation from God. Spiritual direction and soul care sessions with our ministry nurture a growing hope in the power of God's Spirit to transform and encourage.

Redeemed Seasons' video series, Rescue and Restoring, is an important discipleship resource for many of the men and women we serve. Currently, thirty-seven individuals have subscribed to our 12-part healing and discipleship program; others are currently praying about whether to include our video series in their own journey with Jesus.

We ask that you pray also for these men and women and for God to meet them and support them as they seek deeper relationship with their Maker and offer themselves to Him for healing and transformation.

We need your help to care for those impacted by LGBTQ.

Please consider making a year-end donation.

We are approaching that time of year where many of us start thinking about taxes and making decisions about year-end charitable giving.

Would you consider adding Redeemed Seasons to your list for year-end donations?

Because we do not charge fees for any of our services -- spiritual direction, support groups, or online videos -- we rely heavily on donors to provide the financial resources we need to "keep the lights on" at our ministry. Donated funds are essential for us to pay salaries, to maintain our website, to license software, to procure insurance, and to maintain computer equipment.

As you are praying about where to send your year-end giving, please consider becoming a financial supporter of Redeemed Seasons. You can make a tax-deductible donation, one-time or recurring, via our website at this link:
